How does semantic search become an AI Rental Agent profile?
Describe the rental you want in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick in natural language, then approve how HomeScout separates must-have, flexible and descriptive criteria. That search becomes one active monitored city profile. The agent uses the approved search description to review rental matches, rank eligible matches and prepare alerts without asking you to create a second search.
Can I add separate Rental Agents for different cities?
Yes. Each Rental Agent belongs to exactly one city: Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick. You can add a separate agent for another supported city within your plan limits. Each agent keeps its own criteria, exact matches, alternatives, notifications and Auto Apply eligibility; one agent does not monitor several cities. Relaxing an area broadens results only within that agent's city, never into another city.
Are Rental Agent matches a live availability feed?
No. Rental Agent matches are suggestions to review, not reservations or confirmations of availability. Listing availability and details can change, so open the original listing when available and verify details with the advertiser.
What appears in a ranked apartment alert?
A ranked alert can include a match score, reasons tied to your approved criteria and an original source link when one is available. HomeScout can also notify you that a promising match is ready to review. A score helps order the shortlist, but it does not guarantee availability, a viewing or a home.
What is the difference between an application draft and Auto Apply?
The default workflow prepares a property-specific application draft for you to review, edit and send. Auto Apply is a separate, profile-specific opt-in. It can send only after you explicitly enable it and approve an active template, and it applies only to eligible matches in that agent's city under the current safeguards and plan-derived global daily cap.
How many automatic rental applications can Auto Apply send?
Auto Apply currently sends no more than 5 eligible applications per day. The cap comes directly from HomeScout plan data. Applications are not sent automatically by default, and enabling Auto Apply does not guarantee that a match is eligible. You can pause Auto Apply or turn it off at any time.
Is HomeScout a letting agent or listing portal?
No. HomeScout is renter software, not a letting agent, landlord or listing portal. It helps review rental matches, rank matches, prepare alerts and draft applications. You still use the original source when available, make your own rental decisions and communicate with the relevant advertiser or agent directly.
How much does Scout cost, and is there a trial?
