I moved from the Netherlands to Dublin in 2026. I had a rough idea of where I wanted to live and what I thought was a reasonable budget. What I did not have was any idea how difficult finding an apartment in Dublin would actually be.
I was refreshing Daft.ie constantly, copy-pasting the same inquiry email to agents, and losing apartments because I did not see or respond to listings quickly enough. The filters were clunky. The first pages of results were full of expensive options. And figuring out whether a place was overpriced or actually a good deal was nearly impossible.
So I wrote an AI integration to help with my own search. It scanned listings, compared value, and made the whole process less chaotic. That tool became HomeScout, and I ended up finding my own apartment through it. Every feature in HomeScout comes from a real problem I hit while trying to rent in Dublin.
